Role Overview
- We are a fast-growing eCommerce company specializing in premium custom car cover and seat covers. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive eCommerce Operations Manager with over 2 years of experience managing inventory accuracy and operations across multi-location distribution environments. You are skilled in reconciling physical inventory with WMS data (ShipHero), optimizing SKU mapping structures, and supporting end-to-end fulfillment operations including Amazon FBA and direct-to-consumer channels.
You have demonstrated ability to analyze inventory and operational data, identify discrepancies, and implement data-driven solutions to improve accuracy, efficiency, and workflow consistency. You are experienced in coordinating inbound shipments, managing returns and claims, and maintaining critical dashboards (refund trends, size charts, ETA) to support cross-functional teams.
You are a strong communicator and problem-solver who collaborates effectively with warehouse, marketplace, and management teams to resolve issues, maintain system integrity, and ensure smooth daily fulfillment operations in fast-paced environments.
Core Responsibilities
You will:
- Prepare and deliver daily and weekly operational reports, providing insights on inventory status, fulfillment performance, and key issues
- Utilize WMS (ShipHero) and Excel to manage inventory data, reporting, and system synchronization across platforms
- Investigate and resolve operational issues, including SKU mapping gaps, size chart updates, and system mismatches
- Manage and continuously update Web SKU Master SKU mapping to improve inventory accuracy and system integrity
- Maintain inventory accuracy across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring alignment between physical stock and system records
- Coordinate shipments based on internal team requests, including Amazon FBA and other fulfillment channels
- Communicate proactively with cross-functional teams (warehouse, marketplace, and management) to ensure alignment and resolve issues efficiently
- Manage refunds, returns, and replacements, ensuring accurate processing and timely resolution
- Monitor and report on refund trends, maintaining dashboards and identifying actionable insights to reduce refund rates
- File claims and resolve shipment issues with carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS) to recover losses and improve delivery performance
- Maintain and update size chart and ETA dashboards to support Customer Service communication
- Follow and enforce operational workflows to support an efficient warehouse environment and enable smooth daily fulfillment operations
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination within multi-location distribution environments
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting, formulas) and hands-on experience with WMS platforms such as ShipHero
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze inventory and fulfillment data, identify discrepancies, and implement data-driven solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Operations Expertise: Experience managing pre-orders tied to inbound containers, SKU mapping, and end-to-end fulfillment operations
- Communication: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and remote warehouse partners through clear and timely communication
- Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying operational challenges and implementing scalable solutions in fast-paced environments
- Physical Capability: Able to perform warehouse tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs during inventory counts and daily operations
