Account Manager – Apparel Industry Partnerships
Bilingual Korean / English
Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid: 40% On-Site / 60% Remote)
Who We Are
AFA Staffing is the largest provider of sales, e-commerce, production, and trade show staff for the wholesale apparel industry in Los Angeles. We partner closely with fashion brands to help them identify and hire the key people who drive real growth inside their organizations.
Our approach is relationship-driven and built around long-term success. We work closely with our clients to understand how their teams operate, the challenges they face, and the type of people who will truly thrive in their environment.
Our model is simple: we only succeed when the employees we place become valuable long-term contributors to the companies we partner with. Because of this philosophy, many of our clients return to us repeatedly as their companies grow and their hiring needs evolve.
About the Role
We are looking for a well-connected professional from the wholesale apparel industry who wants to play a meaningful role in helping brands build strong teams.
This role is designed for someone who has spent at least 5 years working inside the apparel industry and understands firsthand how difficult it can be for companies to find the right people for key roles across sales, operations, production, and e-commerce.
You likely already know many of the brands, showrooms, and operators in the Los Angeles fashion community. In this position, you will leverage those relationships and your industry knowledge to help companies solve real hiring challenges and build teams that support long-term growth.
Our firm focuses on thoughtful, relationship-driven hiring, not high-volume recruiting. We take the time to deeply understand each client's business, culture, and operational needs so we can introduce talent that truly fits.
Because of this approach, many of our clients come back to us every time they hire.

Collaborate With Recruiters
- Work closely with our recruiting team to communicate the details that matter — culture, leadership style, team dynamics, and long-term growth plans
- Ensure candidates presented align with the client's long-term success, not just immediate hiring needs
Maintain Long-Term Client Relationships
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the companies we partner with
- Stay connected with clients as they grow and expand their teams
- Ensure every placement strengthens our long-term partnership
