[채용공고] Junior Full Stack Developer (Next.js + Shopify Liquid) - Onsite only

Company Overview
- Coverland is a fast-growing DTC eCommerce brand in the automotive accessories space. We run on Shopify Plus with high monthly sales volume. We currently operate a headless Next.js frontend and are planning a transition toward a highly optimized Shopify theme (or hybrid model). We are looking for a junior full stack developer who can help support our headless frontend for the next few months, then transition into a Shopify Liquid focused role.

Job Description
- We are seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in Shopify Liquid and modern JavaScript frameworks (Next.js preferred). This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a Shopify theme and storefront specialist while working on real performance and conversion focused projects. You will work closely with our internal team to ship frontend improvements, support custom product experiences, and gradually take on more Shopify theme and Liquid responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain our current headless Next.js frontend (bug fixes, UI updates, small feature builds, and performance improvements)
- Assist with Shopify theme and Liquid development as we transition from headless to Shopify native or hybrid architecture
- Implement and update product page UX, including variant selection behavior and dynamic image updates
- Help maintain and improve product data rendering using Shopify metafields, theme settings, and structured JSON where needed
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and operations teams to launch site updates quickly and accurately
- Help implement tracking and QA changes for experiments (CRO tests, landing page iterations, merchandising updates)
- Identify and fix performance issues (page speed, Core Web Vitals, frontend bottlenecks)
- Document changes and follow basic development workflows (tickets, pull requests, releases)

Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in frontend or full stack web development (internship + project experience is ok)
- Working experience with Shopify Liquid (themes, sections, templates, snippets)
- Experience with JavaScript and at least one modern framework (Next.js preferred)
- Solid fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and responsive UI implementation
- Comfortable working with Git and basic dev workflows (branches, PRs, code reviews)
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to execute quickly
- Able to work on-site in Fullerton, CA

Nice to Have
- Experience with Shopify Plus, Shopify CLI, theme architecture (Online Store 2.0)
- Basic backend familiarity (Node.js, APIs) and understanding of how headless storefronts connect to Shopify
- Familiarity with GraphQL (Shopify Storefront API) or working with product feeds/catalogs
- Experience working on high-SKU catalogs or complex variant logic
- Interest in performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, or CRO testing

Experience
- Shopify Liquid: 1 year (Preferred)
- JavaScript/TypeScript: 1 year (Required)
- Next.js (or similar React framework): 1 year (Preferred)
- Full stack web development: 1 year (Required)

Employment Conditions
- Employment Type: Full-Time (Regular Position)
- Working Hours: Monday–Friday / Start time between 8:30–9:00 AM / 8 working hours per day / 1-hour lunch break
- Work Location: Fullerton, CA
- Salary: Negotiable based on experience
- Benefits: Lunch provided, Health Insurance, PTO, Sick Days, Professional Development Support, Employee Discounts, Snack Bar, etc.

Application Question(s):
- Do you have experience working in a headless setup (Next.js or similar) connected to Shopify? If yes, briefly describe what you built or maintained.
- Are you comfortable starting with headless frontend work for a few months and then transitioning into a Shopify Liquid focused role?
