We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Buyer / Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing purchasing operations, maintaining inventory levels, analyzing sales data, and developing new supplier relationships.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment, has strong analytical skills, and can manage multiple product lines and vendors while ensuring consistent product availability.
Key Responsibilities
-Manage purchasing operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
-Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and purchasing trends to make informed buying decisions
-Monitor stock levels and perform timely re-orders to prevent shortages and maintain optimal inventory levels
-Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new vendors and suppliers, negotiating pricing and supply terms
-Coordinate and develop new item manufacturing and product sourcing with suppliers
-Create and manage purchase orders and vendor records
-Track shipments and resolve supply or delivery issues
-Communicate closely with warehouse and operations teams regarding product availability
-Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs and improve supply chain efficiency
Qualifications
-2–3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
-Experience in distribution, wholesale, or food industry preferred
-Strong data analysis and inventory management skills
-Excellent negotiation and vendor management ability
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Ability to manage multiple suppliers and product lines simultaneously
Language Requirement
-Bilingual: English and Korean (Required)
-Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing both languages for communication with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
