Ocean Import Assistant Manager (5+ Years Experience)
We are seeking an experienced Ocean Import Assistant Manager with strong operational expertise and the ability to work independently in a small-office environment. This role involves overseeing full-cycle ocean import operations, communicating with clients and carriers, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation flow. Candidates who are detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working quietly and efficiently with minimal supervision will be an excellent fit.
Responsibilities:
Minimum 5 years of experience in ocean import operations (NVOCC, freight forwarder, or logistics company).
Experience managing the full import cycle with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills in English; basic Korean proficiency required.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Knowledge of U.S. customs processes, CBP regulations, HTS codes, INCOTERMS, and import compliance.
Ability to work independently in a small team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
Valid proof of employment eligibility in the United States.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in ocean import operations (NVOCC, freight forwarder, or logistics company).
