HMA Aluminum Division is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for its Irvine, California location.
HMA is a leading wholesale distributor of non-ferrous metals, providing quality aluminum raw materials as well as aluminum wheels for its customers in the US and Mexico, servicing multinational conglomerates, metal brokers, and fabrication industries.
This position is responsible for supporting management by providing necessary reports in a timely manner as well as light bookkeeping. Previous experiences in logistics preferred
The chosen candidate must have the following:
• Highly professional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task logistics to facilitate ocean import shipments and ensure every shipment is flawlessly executed
• Ability to manage and work with multiple warehouses, truckers, and forwarders
• Diligently maintaining multiple spreadsheets regarding cargo tracking, inventory, and delivery status
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work as self-sufficiently abiding by guidelines
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with customers and vendors
• Ability to handle additional administrative duties and other tasks needed to ensure highly satisfied HMA customers
Hours required:
• Monday through Friday, 9am – 6pm
