Job description:
E-PLEX Irvine (Quail Hill) is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Math Teacher to work with students in Grades 6 through 8 in a structured and supportive learning environment. Our program focuses on strengthening mathematical understanding, developing problem-solving skills, and building students’ confidence through engaging and effective instruction.
Position Details:
Location: Irvine, CA (Quail Hill)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Work Location: In person
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour(based on experience level.)
Responsibilities:
Teach math to students in Grades 6–8
Strengthen students’ foundational and advanced math skills
Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans
Provide individualized academic support based on student needs
Maintain a positive, structured, and productive classroom environment
Assess student progress and provide regular feedback
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Strong knowledge of middle school math curriculum
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Responsible, organized, and team-oriented
Preferred:
Teaching Credential holders are strongly preferred
Candidates with prior teaching or tutoring experience are strongly preferred
