We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our team at the Santa Fe Springs Rd, CA location to support our Warehouse Manager in driving operational excellence and ensuring superior customer service.
Job Description:
The Warehouse Assistant Manager is a pivotal role that supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations, promoting a safe work environment, and optimizing workflow. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to being customer-focused and ensuring operational efficiency across all warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities :
• Assist in overseeing daily fulfillment operations, including picking, packing, and shipping.
• Support in monitoring team activities to ensure adherence to safety practices.
• Aid in managing logistics and the movement of products, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to support inventory and product management, focusing on accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with carriers and service providers to address daily logistics needs, negotiate rates, and resolve transportation issues.
• Contribute to the creation and management of reports and oversee expenses to maximize financial efficiency.
• Support maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
Requirements :
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse setting.
• High level of motivation, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with Oracle ERP system.
• Knowledge of inventory and warehouse management, order fulfillment, and logistics processes.
• Physical ability to perform required tasks, including lifting objects up to 75 pounds.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Minimal travel may be required.

Salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year (based on experience).
