Order Processing Specialist — Textile Wholesale

About Us
ARQ TEX is an established Los Angeles textile import and distribution company supplying fabric to major national retailers and apparel manufacturers. We source globally and move high volumes domestically, and we're looking for a detail-oriented Order Processing Specialist to keep our order pipeline running smoothly from PO receipt through delivery.
What You'll Do
• Process and manage purchase orders from wholesale customers, from order entry through shipment confirmation
• Review POs against pricing, inventory availability, and customer routing guides to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with our warehouse team on pick tickets, shipping schedules, and delivery windows
• Track open orders, follow up on backorders, and communicate status updates to customers and the sales team
• Help resolve discrepancies, shortages, and chargeback issues with accounts
• Maintain accurate records in our order management/ERP system
What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of order processing, order management, or customer service experience — apparel, textile, or wholesale distribution strongly preferred
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
• Strong skills working with order data, pricing, and inventory reports
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through — you catch errors before they become chargebacks
• Clear, professional communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Able to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment
