Accounting Specialist

 

Responsibilities

• Expense Management and Payments: Oversee and manage company credit card usage, ensuring timely payments and adherence to company policies. Verify travel requests and reconciliation documents for expenses related to business trips, ensuring compliance with budget limits. Review personal expense documentation and ensure timely reimbursement processing in accordance with company guidelines.

• Financial Reports Month-End Closing Support: Oversee the input and management of department-specific revenue, costs, expenses, and invoice issuance, ensuring accuracy for financial reporting. Perform daily cross-checking between bank statements and accounting records to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded. Prepare and manage account sheets for different accounting categories, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data. Support the monthly reconciliation of transactions for other branches.

• Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables Management: Create and manage separate worksheets for accounts receivable and payable, ensuring all transactions are recorded and tracked accurately. Perform daily reconciliation of incoming and outgoing bank payments, ensuring consistency with company records.

• Monthly Expense Reporting: Create and review monthly reports comparing budgeted versus actual expenses to monitor cost performance. Prepare dedicated tracking sheets for specific expenses, such as meal allowances and insurance premiums.

 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial management.

• Experience in cost management, accounts reconciliation, and month-end closing processes. 

• Proficient with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Paychex)

• Strong understanding of corporate financial principles and accounting processes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, especially in financial modeling and reporting.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000

 

Asian Market Sales Representative

 

Responsibilities

Sales Operations & Account Management

• Manage and support existing client accounts, including major Asian grocery chains, distributors, and retail partners.

• Process and track sales orders, shipping schedules, and requisitions within the system to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with customers to confirm successful receipt of goods and resolve discrepancies.

Financial & Administrative Management

• Manage customer invoicing, shipment schedules, and accounts receivable aging to ensure accurate and timely payment collection.

• Review and reconcile invoice deductions and promotional claims.

• Support contract review, pricing calculations, and margin analysis to maintain profitability.

• Maintain and organize essential documentation such as contracts, invoices, and promotional agreements.

Sales Strategy & Market Development

• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive movements, and potential business opportunities.

• Assist in developing sales and operational strategies to expand product placements and strengthen channel performance.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.

• A minimum of 0-3 years of relevant experience in sales, purchasing, account management, or supply chain, preferably within Food/Beverage industry.

• Proven experience in sales operations, with a focus on Asian market sales and channel development.

• Strong understanding of supply chain management and operational processes.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Open to business travel, including overnight stays when necessary.

• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000

 

Supply Chain Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Logistics/Customs/Purchasing Efficiency Analysis: Analyze logistics, customs, and purchasing processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction, streamline operations, and improve overall supply chain performance.

• Export/Import Shipment and Trucking Coordination: Manage and coordinate export and import shipment schedules, ensuring timely and efficient logistics flow while optimizing trucking routes and costs.

• Overseas Exporter Management: Manage relationships with overseas exporters in countries like the Philippines and Thailand, ensuring compliance with FDA import regulations for each country.

• Information Request and Verification: Request and verify essential information for U.S. exports/imports, including CMB, quantity, price, ingredients, origin, HS CODE, and label sticker requirements. Assess the feasibility of importing related products.

• Registration and Documentation Management: Perform tasks related to vendor and product information registration. Prepare export/import-related contracts and customs documentation, and manage PO, SO, and invoice entries in QuickBooks.

• Import Product Development: Conduct research and market analysis for company products and new products from other companies. Prepare reports and develop strategies for the importation of new products.

• Vendor and Manufacturer Relationship Management: Manage relationships with imported product vendors and manufacturers, facilitate communication for sample requests, and distribute samples to relevant teams.

• Market Competitiveness Analysis: Conduct analyses on competitor product pricing, packaging, and labels. Research market trends and sales potential to evaluate the competitiveness of new products in targeted import categories.

• Internal Product Tasting and Survey: Organize internal tasting sessions for newly developed products and conduct employee surveys to gather feedback.

Responsibilities:

• Communication and Meetings: Facilitate communication and meetings with related teams in Korea to oversee product launches and develop new items aligned with market trends in the U.S.

• Product Sourcing and Supply: Introduce and supply new products to E-Mart and affiliated retailers in Korea.

• Product Development and Launching: Engage in the development of lifestyle, apparel, and miscellaneous products while collaborating with suppliers from the U.S., Europe, and South America. Facilitate the procurement process through direct transactions with producers, ensuring the highest quality products are launched at optimal times.

• Supplier Communication: Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to maintain competitiveness, as well as resolve quality issues between buyers and suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Sourcing or Merchandising related majors or a related field.

• 0-3 years of Practical experience in retail merchandising and buying, or comparable merchandising and inventory planning experience is preferred.

• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing.

• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, along with effective communication skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

• Open to business travel, including overnight stays when necessary.

• Fluent in both English and Korean.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office.
