We are a small family-owned full-service real estate investment and management company seeking an experienced ACCOUNTANT to lead our accounting operations.
Duties and Responsibilities include:- Oversee day-to-day operations of accounting department
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions for properties across portfolio
- Manage rent collection process and ensure proper posting and record of rent transactions
- Prepare, review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Process and insure timely payments for property taxes, insurance and other recurring obligations
- Coordinate and manage third-party professionals to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant corporate and
personal tax filings
- Coordinate with all other members of team to ensure accuracy and proper recording of transactions
- Support audits and assist in financial planning, forecasting and strategic decision-making
Location: Currently in South Pasadena, CA and permanently moving to Vernon, CA in the fall of this year 2025.
Qualifications:
- College degree in a relevant discipline
- At least five (5) years experience in a finance / accounting
- At least three (3) years working in an accounting firm
- Detailed-oriented, ability to work independently, and can handle pressure
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Fluent in English
- Experience with Property Management Software (AppFolio, Yardi, Rent Manager, etc.) is a plus
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Minimum $75,000 annual salary.
