Position: Logistics & Supply Chain Management Operations Manager

Job Summary: 
As a Logistics & Supply Chain Management Operations Manager in Cerritos, CA, you'll oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and smooth logistics processes while leading and motivating a team to achieve operational excellence and meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory Management: 
o Monitor stock levels and implement just-in-time inventory systems to reduce excess stock. 
o Manage warehouse layout and product flow to ensure efficient storage and retrieval. 
o Implement and maintain inventory control systems and processes.
o Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels.
o Forecast demand and implement inventory control systems. 
• Order Fulfillment: 
o Oversee the entire order fulfillment process, from receiving orders to shipping goods.
o Ensure accuracy and timeliness of order processing and shipping. 
o Manage shipping and transportation logistics, including route optimization and carrier selection. 
• Team Leadership: 
o Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. 
o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
o Hire, train, and develop warehouse personnel. 
• Process Improvement: 
o Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
o Analyze performance metrics and data to identify areas for improvement. 
o Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure performance. 
• Compliance: 
o Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards. 
o Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Communication: 
o Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and other departments. 
o Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations. 
• Safety: 
o Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. 
o Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures. 
• Planning and Execution:
o Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness. 
o Manage transportation, warehousing, inventory, and order fulfillment processes. 
o Optimize transportation routes, warehouse layouts, and inventory levels. 
o Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure smooth operations. 
• Cost Optimization and Performance:
o Negotiate contracts with suppliers and carriers to secure favorable rates. 
o Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. 
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and inventory turnover. 
• Customer Service:
o Ensure customer satisfaction by providing accurate and timely deliveries. 
o Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to logistics operations. 

Salary Range: 100,000-120,000

Position: Supply Chain Operations & Demand Planning Manager(e-commerce/Retail)
Job Summary:
As a Supply Chain Operations & Demand Planning Manager in e-commerce/retail in Cerritos,
CA, you’ll oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, including inventory management,
demand forecasting, and order fulfillment. This role ensures seamless integration between
demand planning and supply chain operations to optimize product availability, reduce costs,
and enhance customer satisfaction. The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to
drive efficiency, maintain accurate stock levels, and meet e-commerce retail targets.

General activities of a demand planner’s work include:
o Tracking product inventory 
o Maintaining knowledge of and understanding of current and future trends
o Generating progress reports and presentations
o Identifying forecast changes

Core responsibilities of a demand planner include:
o Collecting data from internal and external sources on factors known to affect
demand 
o Analyzing sales, stock, and other data statistics
o Reviewing historical sales trends
o Modeling the data to forecast future demand
o Obtaining information on occurrences that could impact demand like
promotions and production delays
o Gathering updates on vendors, distributors, sales, and other stakeholders that
can affect demand
o Developing demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time
horizons
o Coordinating cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances
o Interacting with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand
forecast drivers
o Using and maintaining the demand planning software 
o Providing input to the supply planning organization in developing inventory
strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
o Refining systems and methods to improve forecasts in order to better anticipate
customer needs

Required and Desired Skills:
To be a successful Demand Planner, you need to have a set of skills that include analytical
capabilities, strong business discernment and judgment, and an ability to influence decisions by
working across different organizational functions beyond the supply chain. These are a mixture
of “hard” analytical skills and “soft” interpersonal and presentation skills. Like with other
positions, experience in supply chain is the strongest qualification; however, there are
continuing education and volunteer opportunities that can strengthen your skill set for this
