PK Retail은 Premium grocery market 사업을 진행하기 위해서 미국 현지에 설립된 법인으로 5 개 마켓 브랜드(총 50개 매장)를 인수하고 신규 매장을 지속적으로 오픈하며 미국현지 유통시장 진출에 박차를 가하고 있습니다.

Food Product Development Technologist (경력 1~3)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Support new product development and/or processes based on consumer feedback

- Generating new product ideas and recipes

- Research products, markets, and technology to develop new product concepts

- In partnership with marketing & sales team, develop and test feasibility of new product concepts 

- Design a product structure from a concept and sourcing new ingredients and collecting all necessary documents Develop samples/prototypes of new products and evaluating product design and integrity 

- Ensure quality and safety of food products, finding substitutes for harmful ingredients

- Reviewing and approving nutritional data, writing product specifications and enforcing USDA labelling regulations Develop specifications for all raw materials, process controls, and finished goods

- Create and update in-house product specification sheets and product specifications sheets for Customers Carry out administrative tasks and devise policy for government departments (FDA, USDA, etc.) 

- Prepare product costing based on raw materials and manufacturing costs to ensure profitable products

- Work on packaging innovation and technology

- Modify existing products and processes to create more marketable products

- Maintain accurate records to ensure smooth start-up for new product production processes

- Work with suppliers & sales team on quality issues and new product ideas

- Maintain and follow industry regulations and customer requirements

- Independently review changes in products, product specifications, and manufacturing processes to assess regulatory implications of the change

- Proactively attend conferences and generate product and packaging ideas

- Manage R&D kitchen, equipment, ingredients, & schedule 

- Miscellaneous duties as directed by R&D manager

SCM/Purchasing Assistant Manager (경력 3~5년)

Import/Logistics coordinator will interact with members of sales team and provide administrative support. Additionally, you will work closely with oversea shippers to ensure all criteria are met with USDA/FDA regulation & US import regulations.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Global sourcing/purchasing from overseas including Emart Private and national brand products

- Set up pricing, promotion, and marketing sales plan for Distributors.  

- Responsible for the planning and execution of international shipment

- Work with sales team to comply with all customer labeling and shipping requirements

- Work with oversea shippers, freight forwarders and custom brokers to ensure proper customs documentation 

   is processed

- Manage to control local & overseas freight charges and KPI (Key Performance index) Management    

- Maintain and update knowledge on all custom clearance processes and evaluate all self-study courses

- Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments on the daily basis

 

 

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in purchasing, Logistics, Inventory Control, Operations or related

- Proven experience of at least 3-year SCM assistant manager and import/logistics coordinator 

- Must have experience working in food/beverage manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods industry

- Must be attention- to- detail and work under supervision

- Handling imports logistic paperwork and process required documentation for compliance and custom clearance

  procedure for customs clearance

- Update HTS Code and duty rate

Home & Fashion Buyer (신입)

Job Duties/Responsibilities include:

 

1. Buying Management

- Responsible for introducing and relaying new products to sourcing team in Korea

- Communicate with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms to ensure competitiveness

- Keep track of order progress such as PO issue, FA audit, production, inspection, artwork, etc. to allow orders to arrive 

  in Korea on time

- Be familiar with shipping incoterms and track shipment for orders

- Have knowledge of Korean regulations/certifications related to safety based on each category

- Resolve quality issues between buyers and suppliers

 

2. Brand Portfolio Management

- Study market trends in both US and Korea for specific category

- Research to find quality products and establish sourcing/procurement strategies and goals

- Attend conventions/trade shows to network with different suppliers

- Forecast orders to ensure continuous business with current suppliers and headquarters

 

Job Requirements

- Flexible to travel up to 10% within US
