제 가장 친한친구의 일입니다.

On Friday, May 26th, our baby Jordan was dropped off at Josey Ranch Pet Hospital in Carrollton, TX, around 8:20 a.m. for a routine grooming, and he never made it back out alive. They called us at 12:26 p.m. and informing us that he unfortunately passed away. When we spoke with Dr. Katherine Goleniak, she told us that she heard that he had urinated on himself before collapsing. They added that he passed away quickly. We don't think they are telling us the whole truth about what took place there. The groomer, McKayla, should be the one to explain what took in there, specifically in front of us. If McKayla thought anything was unsafe for Jordan, she should have stopped.

Since then, all they have said is "sorry for your loss," and they have promised that the Medical Director, who wasn't there when it occurred, will call us later, which we were expecting to be happened on following Tuesday the latest, since the Monday was the Memorial Day but that never happened. It’s already been 6 days since it happened, and we even emailed them to ask the first and last name of the groomer, along with the proof of the qualifications and pet-grooming experiences. McKayla, the groomer, who knows exactly what took place there, has not been seen since she took Jordan in. Their process is unacceptable. We have not even gotten a sincere apology when we just lost one of our family members in their facility. They don't deserve to be in this industry.  Jordan was only 7 years old with perfect health condition. He walked in that morning for grooming with no medical history nor any heart issue as he had his regular annual checkups.
In order to learn more about what happened to Jordan, we are going to be in touch with local animal advocacy and control groups. As for Josey Ranch Pet Hospital and the groomer, McKayla, who is being protected by not disclosing her last name, we intend to press charges against them and would even consider filing a lawsuit.

The only thing in which we are interested is in obtaining justice for Jordan and so that this will never happen to any other families in the future; we are not interested in money since no amount of money you could give me would be able to replace Jordan and we cannot get him back. We were never expected to come home without him. We are experiencing severe emotional distress, and our lives will not be the same FOREVER.
