독립기념일을 맞아 남가주 전역에서는 화려한 불꽃놀이와 퍼레이드 행사가 펼쳐집니다.

특히 올해 독립기념일은 주말에 겹치면서 보다 많은 주민들이 행사에 참석해 더욱 다양하고 화려한 불꽃놀이와 퍼레이드를 즐길 것으로 보입니다.

올해로 239주년을 맞는 독립기념일에는 역대 가장 화려한 불꽃놀이와 퍼레이드 행사가 열립니다.

LA다운타운 그랜드팍에서 열리는 독립기념일 행사 ‘그랜드팍 블럭 파티’는 4일 오후 3시부터 밤 9시 30분까지 템플 스트릿에서 2가, 그랜드 애비뉴와 메인 스트릿 사이 모두 8블럭에 걸쳐 펼쳐집니다.

그랜드팍 행사는 라이브 음악과 그림 전시회, 푸드트럭 등이 한데 어우러져 모든 주민들이 다양한 행사를 즐길 수 있도록 준비됐으며 밤 9시 10분부터는 시청 건물 옥상에서 불꽃놀이 행사가 펼쳐질 예정입니다.

또 헐리우드 볼에서 열리는 올해 불꽃놀이는 사상 처음으로 사흘 연속 개최됩니다.

전설의 소울 가수, 스모키 로빈슨와 LA필하모닉의 환상적인 공연 후 불꽃놀이가 이어집니다.

그런가 하면 남가주에서 가장 큰 규모로 펼쳐지는 패사디나 로즈볼의 아메리카페스트 2015 행사는 모터사이클 스턴트 쇼를 시작으로 엘비스 프레슬리와 비틀스 트리뷰트 밴드의 공연과 함께 밤 9시부터 불꽃놀이가 시작됩니다.

마리나 델 레이 해변에서 진행되는 불꽃놀이는 피셔스 빌리지와 버튼 체이스 팍 그리고 마더스 비치 등에서 볼 수 있습니다.

로맨틱한 분위기를 연출하는 롱비치의 퀸메리호를 타면 바다 위에서 밤하늘을 아름답게 수놓는 아름다운 불꽃놀이를 구경할 수 있습니다.

이 밖에도 LA다저스타디움과 LA콜리시움 그리고 디즈니랜드 등에서도 대규모 불꽃놀이 행사가 마련됐습니다.

불꽃놀이 행사 뿐만 아니라 독립기념일 퍼레이드 또한 남가주 곳곳에서 펼쳐질 예정입니다.

특히 오는 25일부터 다음달 2일까지 LA에서 열리는 장애인 올림픽을 앞두고 산타모니카와 웨스트우드, 패사디나 등에서는 장애인 올림픽을 적극적으로 홍보하는 퍼레이드 행사가 진행됩니다.
