Join Our Team of Installers:
We are currently seeking skilled installers to join our team. As an installer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including pulling cables, wire wrapping, punch down operations, lacing, and drilling. Your role will also involve working with a range of Data Network and Communications equipment, such as routers, switches, voice gateways, and VOIP equipment. You will gain hands-on experience with server racks and be proficient in Low Voltage Category Cabling, including Cat 5/6 and Fiber Optic cabling.
Your expertise will extend to managing Structured Cable Distribution Systems, patch panels, and support structures including ladders, racks, brackets, and hooks. Familiarity with systems like Nortel, Genband, Ribbon, AT&T, and Verizon Business, as well as C3, G9, and G6, will be essential. Additionally, a basic understanding of Linux and OS installation procedures is highly desirable.

• Requirements:
• Possession of a valid driver`s license and a clean driving record.
• 100% travel is a necessity. You must be prepared to travel beyond the local market and throughout the U.S., potentially for extended periods, including weeks at a time.
• Proficiency in differentiating colors, as color-coded cables are a part of the role.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and work at elevated heights.
• Successful completion of mandatory safety training.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Ability to successfully pass drug screenings and background checks.
• Prior experience in the installation within the telecommunications or IT field.
• Exemplify professionalism while representing and safeguarding the interests of Tanicom in all interactions involving customers, vendors, and fellow employees.
