Position Overview
La Bella Vita Salon & Wellness Studio, a luxury beauty and wellness destination in Torrance, is seeking a licensed and experienced cosmetologist/stylist to join our professional team. Our studio blends beauty, health, and relaxation, offering clients a rejuvenating experience in a serene, spa-inspired atmosphere.
The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients look and feel their best, values professionalism and creativity, and demonstrates a strong commitment to client satisfaction and salon collaboration. This position offers flexible work arrangements — candidates may choose between booth rental or a commission/service split model.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a full range of hair care services including cutting, coloring, styling, treatments, and blowouts.
Consult with clients to determine hair care needs, preferences, and suitable treatments.
Stay current on trends, techniques, and product knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in compliance with California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology standards.
Build and maintain a loyal clientele through high-quality services and personalized attention.
Foster a positive and professional work environment aligned with La Bella Vita’s commitment to beauty and wellness.
Qualifications
Active California Cosmetology License (required).
Minimum 1–2 years of professional salon experience preferred.
Strong technical skills in cutting, color, and styling for diverse hair types and textures.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Professional liability insurance required.
Passion for continuous learning and client-centered care.
Fluent in English and Korean.
