<< Position : Maintenance Coordinator >>

Essential Job Duties
• Review, evaluate, and prioritize requests for maintenance at stores.
• Inspect sites regularly, responding to complaints and evaluating current status and needs.
• Identify and resolve maintenance, materials, supplies, and staffing problems.
• Maintain, update, and plan the schedule, including assigning tasks to technicians and hiring contractors.
• Purchase materials for construction or parts for machine repair. 
• Report on activities, budget, supplies, and planned projects.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Desired Skills & Attributes
• Associate’s degree or higher in construction management, architecture or mechanical engineering.
• Over 2 years of work experience or certificates in a construction field is a plus.
• Must be able to analyze issues and resolve problems in an efficient manner. 
• Must be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, and follow direction.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to operate computer software basics and Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to be on-calls and willing to travel within assigned territory as needed.
• Must be fluent in English and preferably Korean.

Essential Job Duties
• Manage and track item sales and inventory status.
• Advise customers on newly available items and promotions to drive overall sales.
• Develop effective sales strategy and managing sales volume.
• Coordinate with department heads to plan and execute storewide promotions.
• Visit H-Mart stores to review, inspect products and resolve any quality control related issues.
• Select weekly promotional items and place them on advertising flyers.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. 

Desired Skills & Attributes
• Must be able to analyze problems, present facts, make recommendations, and implement solutions.
• Ability to take initiative and work without close supervision and results driven.
• Must possess strong oral and written communication and listening skills in order to effectively communicate with customers and all levels of employees in the organization, as well as managing confrontational and escalated customer complaints in a controlled and courteous manner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business during peak seasons and special events.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office suits.
• Must be fluent in English plus one (preferably two) of the following languages:  Korean, Chinese, Spanish and Vietnamese.

Essential Job Duties
• Requesting approvals for AP invoices.
• Entering AP invoices in the ERP system.
• Releasing (paid) invoices.
• Assist with periodic closes.
• Assist with store/warehouse inventory audit.
• Maintain general ledger as needed.
Desired Skills & Attributes
• Must have a high school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office suits.
• Must be accurate and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
• Must be able to perform frequent repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.
• Fluent in English and Korean communication skill is a plus.

Essential Job Duties
• Organize AP/AR documents.
• Coordinate space and office organization; maintaining paper and electronic files.
• Type correspondence, compile data for expense and statistical reports.
• Maintain ongoing and proactive communication with key partners about new arrivals, order overages, and shortages, and delivery delays.
Desired Skills & Attributes
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge in accounting is preferred. (AR, AP, Invoices)
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include working weekends, holidays, etc.
• Must have a positive attitude, a cooperative nature, and be self-motivated.
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be able and willing to perform frequent standing, walking, repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders.
• Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.

Essential Job Duties
• Administers and maintains HR activities and programs; such as staffing, compensation, benefits, training and safety.
• Answers employee questions about HR policies and procedures, and refers to HQ as needed.
• Coordinates new hire orientation, HR events, benefits open enrollment and company-wide meetings.
• Act as a mediator between management and employees.
• Ensure policies, procedures and HR programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals and are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and laws.
• Conveys goals and objectives clearly and in a compelling manner; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed.

Desired Skills & Attributes
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources is preferred. PHR is a plus.
• Must be accurate, organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
• Must be fluent in English. Proficient Korean, Spanish or Chinese skill is a plus.
• Have the discretion to keep confidential information out of public knowledge. 
• Supervisory experience, preferably in retail or an industry with large non-exempt populations is a plus.
• Intermediate level use of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, specifically formulas and PowerPoint.

2. General Requirement
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include working weekends, holidays, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Korean/Chinese/Spanish other than English is a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.
